Spontanety is the spice of life- Use liberally.

Sicily was a trip beyond my wildest expectations. From just before the plane was to set down on the island of Sicily, my trip began to stand on it's head. Orignally I had planned to go to Palermo and just hang out, shop, go to the beach and see the sights. But all that changed.

The storm which had been raging for quite some time in Palermo still hadn't quieted and the plane which was scheduled to go to Palermo just before us, had been re-routed to Catatina- which is on the other side of the island. The turbulance was horrible and it was because of this that I heard the couple behind me speaking with American accents. I struck up a conversation with them and it turns out - long story short- that they are friends of one of my friends. Strange how small the world is really. So Andy and Erin invited me to come with them. Their plan was to take the 3 1/2 hour train from Palermo to Milazzo that afternoon, then stay at a b&b that night. Getting up early the next day to take the ferry which would take then to the island of Vulcano which has an inactive Volcano on it. So that's just what I did. The photos are currently loaded onto flickr, and I'm working on the video. Enjoy! I know I did. :)

Rolling Right Along

Since Friday, I have been sick. Ugh. Sniffles, mucus, sore throat, fever, thy name is Tiffany.

I would say that I have been lucky I haven't had a stomachache- but I think that showed up tonight along with it's good friend- headache.

I say again. UGH.

On the good side, I have gotten two more trips planned. Ha! That will teach Dad to tell me that I should travel now and not worry about the money. No. Wait. I'm the one who has to pay this all off when I come home. Well, shit. I wonder how long I can make this job last.

Anyways.
My planned trips are:
Vienna, Austria- Nov. 7-9
Palermo, Sicily Italy- Nov. 28-30
Holla!
So, when you are cold, windblown, snowed on, and sick of the bad Kansas weather.

Just think of me.

And remember that when flipping that bird- I'm to the East. :)
