Time Flies when You're having fun!

Jessica left today to go back home after having spent the week with me in Germany. I have to say that it was super awesome that she got to come all this way to hang out with little ole me. Oh and there might have been the whole "Europe" draw but really, I'm just way more interesting than all of Europe combined. (Hey! Stop rolling your eyes. It could be true.)

But seriously, Jess and I had a great time. We started off with two days in Stuttgart, then on to Neuschwanstein then on to Munich where we spent two days before traveling to Rothenburg ob der Tauber and finally back to Stuttgart yesterday. *bends over in half taking deep breaths* So yeah, just a little crazy. Lucky for me I don't have to do the whole trip there and back and the family is gone til Saturday so I get time to recover. Between writing three papers and trying to get the movie from this weekend put together it should be very relaxing. *rolls eyes* Anyways, that's what's going on with me. Sooo... yeah. Thanks for reading!

In the Air again, I can't wait to be in the air again....

I'm getting ready to head back to Germany in an hour. I've really enjoyed my time at home, but I'm ready for the next half of my adventure in Europe. I'm really going to miss somethings here- HOLLY!!! I'm really not looking forward to the flight though. I'm really hoping I can at least make it back without all the trouble I had coming here. Well, I've got to sign off and make sure I have everything I need. See ya in Germany!

You Say Good-Bye and I Say Hello

First of all, after the trouble I had getting into this sight, I simply must say that I extremely dislike German computer keyboards. That and the internet sites all come up in German since it reads it as coming from a computer located in Germany. So... where do I start?

Between saying good-bye to friends,

family

and packing.

Things have been absolutely crazy. Just like I knew that I would, I lost it when it came time to tell everyone bye. My dad did not help. I'm sorry, but no matter how many times you tell someone not to cry, it simply isn't going to work. Get over it.

It's hard telling everyone good-bye, and for many not knowing if this will be the last time you ever see them. I know I'm very scared that when I come back Holly, or someone else will no longer be there. It's hard to come to terms with the fact that life in the US won't stop without me there, and there will be events I will miss. I request everyone keep me informed.

Oh, and special note to the H7- Check it out, it's a corporate training video.... kinda.

I am now savely tucked away in Filderstadt. I will post pictures of the house and area tomorrow I hope. Today I got here, everything went alright, it was actually kinda funny, they showed "Fool's Gold" on the flight over and cut the plane crash scene. Like we wouldn't know if happened. I mean, one second they were in the plane, the next they were in the water. I mean come on.

I found my family really quickly, my luggage was the very last off the plane, and Dorothee, the mom, quickly named my bags "Bricks". I have to say I agree. She's working at home today, though I don't suspect much is getting accomplished between the kids and me. I took Paula to the playground, their equipment is very different. I'll post pictures of the next time we go. They have a swing that looks like Big Bird's nest. Quite amusing. :) Well, I'm being hollared for by the kids. g2g. Bis Später!
